Pre-Audit is done accessing the merchant's web site to view the information displayed in align with the Code of Practice.  The pre-audit covers areas such as Identification , Legitimate Transactions, Company Profile and Business Information, Communications, Capacity For Fulfillment, Quality of Products/Services, Intellectual Property Practices, Timeliness of Delivery, Payment, Privacy, Dispute Resolution and Information Security.
In all there are 12 areas of compliance for the code of practice. 

An appointment is made with the company to do an on site audit assessment. 

After the Corrective Action is completed, the web site of the audited company will be reviewed to check if the company has complied with all the clauses stipulated in the Code of Practice. The BusinessTrust Licence Agreement must be signed and returned to CommerceNet Singapore Ltd. 

Companies will be given the BusinessTrust logo and the TrustSg seal for their web site. A maximum of 4 urls could be used to display both the BusinessTrust logo and the TrustSg seal on their web sites.
