How to Apply for the Consumertrust/TrustSg Accreditation?
Step 1

Ensure that your business is in the B2C sector.  You must be providing services or selling products online to consumers. Download your Application Form.

Step 2

Complete the application forms and prepare the application fee of S$50.00 with a crossed cheque made payable to CommerceNet Singapore Ltd.  

Step 3

Mail your application forms and the cheque to:

Step 4

Pre-Audit is done accessing the merchant's web site to view the information displayed in align with the Code of Practice.  The pre-audit covers areas such as Disclosure, Communications, Fulfillment, Dispute Resolution, Security, Privacy and Child Protection. In all there are 7 areas of compliance for the code of practice. 

Step 5

An appointment is made with the merchant to do an on site audit assessment. 

Step 6

After the Corrective Action is completed, the merchant's web site will be reviewed to check if the organisation has complied with all the clauses stipulated in the Code of Practice. The ConsumerTrust Licence Agreement must be signed and returned to Commercetrust Ltd. 

Step 7

Merchants will be given the Consumertrust seal and a maximum of 4 urls to display both the Consumertrust seal and the TrustSg seal on their web sites.

Consumertrust / TrustSg Accreditation Audit and Certification Fee: S$1600.00
( Special Promotion: ACO 1st Year Waived fee offered to eMerchants ): (S$800.00)
less 50% trust mark certification fund upon certification. Disbursement from NTC: S$800.00
Total Amount Payable by eMerchants: S$50.00
